The problem with JJ is that he doesn't know, and he doesn't know that he doesn't know.

Jefferson threw this game. Bank it. Take a look at that forward pitch. Ware isn't looking and Jefferson is looking straight at the Alabama player and pitches it right at him.

Dude got paid. Someone needs to watch this guy and wait. Because we all going to see this guy in 5 years living the life without ever having to work for it.

That's been apparent from the beginning. He's not a good decision-maker and has never once recognized that there is a problem. And the same goes for Jefferson, too.

He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool - shun him.

He who knows not, and knows that he knows not, is a child - teach him.

He who knows, and knows not that he knows, is asleep - wake him.

He who knows, and knows that he knows, is a wise man - follow him.

I actually feel sorry for him at this point. He is responsible for the way the offense looked, but he might have mental problems if he is going to say something like that

if the report is accurate, and I fear it is, it displays a complete focus on others as the problem and a total lack of responsibility

This is the difference between the Saints quarterback of Aaron Brooks and Breeze

What did his box score look like? I mean i know he fumbled 3 times and had one Int. And Jl couldnt have done better than that! Of course we will never know. The more i think about it the more i feel Miles should be grilled over not playing Lee. I want to really know why. If he really thinks that jj after 3 qts gave them the best chance, then i question his coaching ability, not his recruiting we know he can recruit, but on field coaching.

This is the most likely. He's just not the type to learn from his mistakes. The Shady's incident is only the tip of the iceberg. He probably thinks he didn't do anything wrong in that situation, either.

He is the most unjustifiably arrogant and inexplicably coddled player in LSU history.

is it bad that i would've wholeheartedly cheered if he would've gotten hurt and lee came in to replace him?

Yes, that is bad, for sure.

However, it would have been okay to hope that he got a sudden case of diarrhea and had to go to the locker room for the entire second half !

It's not entirely his fault that he believes this. After all, he has never once in his entire career been benched for poor performance. If you are getting nothing but positive feedback for your actions no matter how outrageously bad they are, it's not surprising that you would think you were doing well.

about the only good thing about JJ is that he will be gone.

Arrogant and Ignorant is not a good combination.

When enough time has passed for Coach Miles to gain some perspective on his own poor decision to leave Jefferson in the game, I really hope he'll take the time to offer a reasonable and honest explanation for his decision. But, I truly doubt he ever will.

I know that he said, in response to the Bobby Hebert question, "...we needed a guy that could move his feet" but was it really just that. I do not think so.

The way to defend a pass rush is not to play the mobile QB, it is to create multiple dump points to quickly get rid of the ball. After a defense has been burned by quick releases, they cannot afford to commit multiples to the constant rush.

quick releases, not quick feet.

When you play the mobile QB and basically commit yourself to beating the rush by being faster and running, you have to honestly be faster than the people rushing.

Would love to have been a fly on the wall when JJ was getting graded in the film room after games the last two seasons! How big is the JJ curve? I can just hear it now JJ dont blame yourself a good receiver would have figured out how to catch a ball bouncing 10 feet in front of him. Now you relax here in the film room and I am going to go out and run all the WR's!

If this is true and Mr. Jefferson has a severely stunted personality, how, for the love of Pete, could LM play that guy. There must be some really big information that we do not know about that whole situation.

It has been clear for 3 years at least that Jeff cannot play QB. Further, I ask anyone, ANYONE, to provide evidence that he got better while he was at LSU. It is as though he were caught in a time warp that kept him playing like he did in HS. Mind boggling that nothing better could have been done about it than Mr. Lee.
