Prove it. It isn’t ignorant at all and just proves how ignorant you are about the game PER USUAL.
Did Curiel get tagged running standing up to third?
Wasn’t there 1 or 2 others thrown out at third in the same game?
Versus TAMU how many got thrown out at home? Others should have that game or the one before.
You have not watched any games if you believe they are “trying to be aggressive” and happen to just get thrown out. It isn’t all on the 3rd base coach when that happens. Guys have run through stops, over-slid bags on turf fields, and had several other blunders by not going half way on fly balls where they could have advanced.
Base running on the whole this season has not been great.
Last night was really good and I’m glad for it as one of the few people on here that has been behind more small ball. Now everybody wants to join in including your dumbass.
I can pull the MANY MANY posts of mine defending Johnson on making the correct call by attempting to score or moving runners by bunting. People on here have been wringing their hands every time it doesn’t work. You are one of them.
This team is what it is - pitching and defense. Best formula to win in baseball and that will never change. Good pitching will be great hitting. Average pitching will beat good pitching because of it being an odds game.

Theres nothing to prove. Ive watched every inning of every game, and you do not know what you are looking at. Again, per usual. This is a really good base running team. Curiel, Brown and Milam are as instinctive of a 3 some as they have had since 2017. You lose nothing on the bases with the big guys, too. Jones, Frey and even Hernandez last night has good baseball IQ. You don't know what good baserunning is

I don't condemn it when it doesnt work, I condemn it all the time.

i dont mind trading an out for a run in most situations, so if that means bunting with a runner on 3rd, i am ok with it.

Where we want to be, that ability will be key to a long run.

Some people on here hate small ball. I just don't understand why. At some point in a game small ball might be needed.

braswell and stansfield can bunt teams into oblivion, they started it, and now many people on this team can bunt for sacrifice and base hits… milam was on base 5 times tonight… and stansfields game is just improving in leaps and bounds… and he homered tonight… so many ways for this team to produce… speed, smallball, largeball, sacrifices, hell even hbp.. and now, we are in control, anybody left in this region is deep in their pitching if not already through it... geauxtigers!!!… speaking of smallball, did anybody see the squeeze bunt pulled off by utsa to finish off texas… the batter pushed the bunt past the pitcher… runner scored before anybody could field the ball… and everybody was safe…

Some people will argue with you on your post. Go to the More Sports Board and you will see why.

Me personally i love it. Small ball has a place in baseball. You bring up a good example on UTSA. That was their 3 hole hitter bunting i think in the 9th.

It's not as exciting as gorilla ball I suppose, but it will play better in Omaha if we make it.

I will say this is one of the better bunting teams I’ve seen at LSU. The can usually lay down a bunt when they want to.

It’s certainly a much less stressful watching experience.

Some don’t like it, but it is an important piece for this LSU Club

LOVE 'small ball' doing all the athletic things with grace and ease and making it look routine - THAT is where the most enjoyment is from playing because there are a lot more chances to do it.

Homeruns are great but they don't happen long enough for them primary source of enjoyment.

That's from long ago playing days - I identify with fast and accurate defense, base stealing, hitting doubles.

Fun game to play.

The defense has been awesome as well. I remember so many complaining about our defense under Jay seasons ago.
