Since you’re so ignorant the point was made that comparing the UAB loss with the Troy loss is ridiculous.

This isn’t about LSU for them. It’s really deeply personal. Truly identify with the man as like themselves.
This is why identity politics has a place in our world now. Certain groups of people find validation in “one of us”.
They defend it fiercely and personally because to them every criticism is a slight against their fragile egos.
Edward Orgeron is a reflection of a good ole boy done good for these dudes. LSU be damned.

It really is. Troy is 10-2 and receiving votes in the rankings. Far cry from UAB and the two teams are not and should not even be compared to each other. 2017 Troy would wipe the field and parking lot with 2000 UAB.

He didn't JUST keep it together. He got every existing commit plus some highly ranked new ones to sign with HIM and HIS team on national signing day.
I believe it has been said that every signee besides the O-lineman that left and the RS QB saw playing time this year. Eight of Eaux's true freshmen started games this year.

We went from Johnny Majors, Fulmer, Schembechler, Holtz, Hayes, and Robinson (who were all "aged" when at their heights) to their proteges... Saban (Majors), Johnson, Kelly, etc.
I can't help but wonder if we're in the middle of the next generation coming on now. Sure looks that way.
In 7-10 years we'll be talking about Saban and Miles as being old when they coached and Kirby Smart and Frank Wilson taking up where they left off.

Saban lost to UAB in his first season at LSU. Coach Eaux lost to a very good Troy in his first year at LSU. That is the comparison.

The three first round draft choices after last season were also on that 2015 team.
Comparing an LSU team with an LSU team two years removed does not work when it is something as stupid as points per game or total yardage.
