Proving idiots wrong and outing them as liars is very relaxing for me or I wouldn't be here.

Thanks for your participation and fitting into both categories.

That’s why you’re here?

Well that explains a lot. I’m just here because I like LSU. Kind of figured that’s why people come here. Guess you proved me wrong too, at least in your case.

What a miserable life.

Congrats.

No I said the loss to Ole Miss in 2013 was unacceptable.... the way the season ended in 2015 was unacceptable....

A change should have been made then....

Btw here is how I know you want O to fail... after they hired him you went on a rampage tearing this dude apart about his time at ole miss and that nobody else wanted him and all that crap... you want him to fail just so you could come on here and tell everyone you were right.... that's all that matters to you... and now that he did way better then you told everyone he would you are trying to dig yourself out of your hole by looking for anything negative about the guy.... it's comical and very sad at the same time.....

Say what you want but I am spot on here... just look at the two threads currently going about O... you have said absolutely nothing positive about the coach of YOUR team that you SAY you want to do well....

You are the true hypocrite here.....

I can understand the hatred. It wasn't my fault Eaux shut your team down in the 1983 game. It was just an interesting story that I posted to start that thread. don't take it personal.

I was 6 years old in ‘83. I couldn’t give a shite less what happened between two LA schools then.

But if it makes you feel better then sure. You must need that assurance of relevance and meaning in life a lot worse than I do.

We will see how weak the Sec is this bowl season. Still goin against the best athletes in the country hands down. Still had 5 conf road games. And how many times in the last 4 or 5 years did Lsu go 6-2 n conference play? Don’t remember the final teams recruiting ranking but I’ve followed closely the last 5 years and imo O signed the best freshman class I’ve seen. He is trying to hire the best OC available that’s best for Lsu. So I see a younger team that may outdo last years team loaded with nfl talent. O has gone 16-5 as HC and recruited well. 16-3 minus everyone but Saban is good. And I think he will field a team that beats Saban in the next few years. He’s done enough to warrant support from the fan base. At least for another year or two

bullshite.

you deemed 2013 and 2015 as underachieving. yet you label thsi year as pretty good

quote:

that's how you know the hire was bad. stating facts about his time at ole miss is considered blasting him.
its not my opinion that O had the worst win% of any ole miss coach to coach 10 or more games.ITS A FACT.

quote:

that nobody else wanted him

its not my opinion that for 29 of his 32 year career no ad has thought enough of his coaching to give him a coordinators job offer. IT'S A FACT.

and now that he did way better then you told everyone he

i said we would probably win 10 games this year.

get grip on reality.

Since you’re talking about calling out liars, I guess I’ll do the same for you. I looked up LA Tech vs Northwestern in football from 1980 through 1985. Here’s what I found:

1980: La Tech 27, NSU 23
1981: La Tech 37, NSU 33
1982: La Tech 33, NSU 0
1983: La Tech 21, NSU 10
1984: La Tech 5, NSU 0
1985: La Tech 33, NSU 17

To intentionally veer into a tangent...

I'm not convinced the SEC, as a whole, is "down". It's somewhat of a matter of semantics, but "down" may be the wrong word. Less parity may be accurate. And yes, the bowl games will go a long way to saying which it is.

The W has been a 2-team race for years with a couple wannabes. It's been a while since a 3rd team was hoping for a tie-breaker scenario (Arky vs Bama/LSU, 2011?) which, to me, defines it as 2-team races.

The E seems to have a champ by week 8 every year. Just kind of rotates.

So we still have the same scenarios at the top. It's the bottom that changed. They weren't going to win a division anyway, could only hope for an outside chance of being somebody's spoiler. So if the bottom two in a division won 3 conf games or 5, doesn't seem to me to have affected the conf. overall strength that much. Just the best stayed the best and the worst changed names.

And yes, in a manner less parity = weaker. But that assumes the higher ranked teams stayed the same. With that in mind, for the first time 2 from same conf are in CFB playoffs and who was in depended on the conf championship. So that means 3 teams (at the top) were in the running, not 1. So the assumption that the top 2 or 3 in each division stayed the same is probably not a good one.
