This is EXACTLY what would happen.

For those who pay attention (like myself), they would recall a segment on Gameday in 2011 that was posted online where there was an actual conversation between Nick Saban and the Gameday crew that IF LSU lost the SECCG to UGA that year, would they have the right to rematch Bama?

The entire crew agreed if LSU lost the SECCG, that they would not be in the playoff due to the inability to win the game, and Bama would be playing someone else, likely OSU.

Let that little bit of insanity sink in.
