I think we are finally toe-to-toe with an opponent who will get our team's full attention. We no doubt have an appetite for victory in the Swamp and should play hungry for the first time this year.

Etling, operating from the gun, needs to be given 5 short/intermed targets, spread the ball around to 6-8 diff receivers and he must, absolutely must release the ball on time.

Danny also needs put to use his athleticsm, tucking the ball and running when the defense gives him a lane.

The oline and wrs are getting better every week and Guice should be healthy.

The defense, with Lawrence and Alexander back up front and our lbs and dbs with another week of seasoning under their belts, is ready to step up and return to form.

Our Tigers should rebound significantly this week and I predict we kick a down Fla team, stealing a win that no one expects us to get. Further, I believe that this win will greatly assist Canada in winning Orgeron's full confidence and in resurrecting the Tiger's season.

This game is huge and I believe we will step up and meet the challenge. Geaux Tigers!

“ no need to come on here and cry 24/7”

I’ll stack my post count on this forum In regard to Coach O up against your post count right now and we will quickly see where the crying is coming from most.

It will show that once again, you are wrong.

Keep the faith. Lawrence and Alexander are playing which will help clog the middle of the defense. Key needs to wake up on the outside.

I just don't see it. The Mississippi State defense that held LSU to 7 points has given up 31 and 49 the next two weeks. Florida has a legit defense, how is LSU going to score? How can LSU win without scoring? I guess if the get a special teams or defensive score and then hold Florida down to little or no scoring they could do it but how likely is that?

I took UF and the -6.5 but I'll be rooting for LSU like always. I'd gladly lose money if they can beat the Gators.

LSU winning out, winning the SEC, and then winning the National Championship would literally be the worst thing to happen to the program.

we lost to a team that has zero recruiting classes in the top 95 since 2014 and nothing in our Captain's past makes you think it will get better

and I'll let the season play out before passing judgemen

so having the worst loss in the lsu- msu history, having the worst loss by a ranked lsu team at the hands of an unranked opponent evern and losing to a team with ZERO 3 star athletes ISNT ENOUGH to pass judgement?

good god.

Dude.

One doesn't need to be a know it all to know we're fricked up this year.

One doesn't need to be a know it all to point out that it's basically unheard of for a school to fire a guy with a winning record and then hire someone with a 3-21 historical record(and I fricking hated Miles).

And after O was hired, I tried to remain positive on this board because what was done was done.

Now you morons want everyone to act like what is happening isn't happening.

the worst part is if we beat this Florida team they will be out in mass talking about O being the right hire and just let him have his 3 years.

I know I disagreed with your defense of Les, thinking you were looking at things too black and white with stats, but you have TOTALLY redeemed yourself with your O takes!

I don't think so. It certainly didn't appear that way to me. Given our history with State, it's not a stretch to assume we underestimated them and wound up struggling more than we should. Frankly, the team really hasn't "shown up" yet, this year.

A big piece of that may be the relative absence of Guice, Key and Lawrence. The core contributors to the team have not
really given us anything, so far.

Hopefully that changes, this weekend. We could be a vastly different team if those 3 suddenly go off. Especially if Etling finally decides to stop hesitating and delivers the ball on time (Canada should be able to help him with this!)

We will be a dramatically better and more competitive team, given that sort of major contribution from Guice, et al and timely passing from Etling.

Sure, they can put it together for 1 game. But LSU hasn't won a day game in Gainesville since the 80s, and a bunch of arse whippings since then.

And we have Joe to thank for this game being in the swamp to begin with.

yeh it has nothing to do with having the worst loss in lsu msu history,
having the worst loss a ranked lsu team had at the hands of an unranked opponent in lsu history, having the 1st ooc home loss since the start of this century.

na we are just mad because we didn'tget our way

6-4 in our last 10 games. 3 of those 4 losses as the favorite.
