I know a Guy

That went to McNeese and won 54games, 2 conference titles, 2 NCAA tourneys, and beat a 3 seed to advance. I know a Guy that went to a “basketball” school who went 11-21 last year and took them to a 20win season this year and his team is still playing in a basketball conference. I know a guy that revitalized a sour basketball program with a SEC title in his 2nd year. I know a guy that threatened the bluebloods(K, Pitino, etc.) and was made a scapegoat for what’s wrong with college basketball. I know a guy that cheated was caught red handed while others doing the same won the Natty the same year.
I know a guy who’s Administration didn’t back him when things got dirty while 5 of the elite 8 did the exact same thing but their Admin gave the Man the FU.
I also know a guy that has been given a 100ft leash, is the worst losing Coach in a 4yr span in the history of the SEC, and still has a job.
Now I will not name names but anyone with an inkling of college basketball knowledge knows who I’m talking about. Now you don’t have to gaf about my opinions but you CANNOT deny the facts. Please Verge there is only one answer that can resurrect said program, YKIYK

Funny, I can name a few who do care and want Wade back: System President, Chair of the Board of Supervisors and the Governor.
Also, the $15 MM is highly inflated. it's about $8 MM to buyout McMahon over three years and offset by any basketball revenue.
Wade's buyout drops from $5MM to $3MM in 21/2 weeks. Any coach worth their salt is going to have a buyout - that's not unique to Wade.
It will cost us about $11-11.5 MM long term to buyout McMahon and acquire Wade, plus Wade's salary at LSU (again you would owe any new coach a salary).
ETA - you hire the right coach, and you will increase basketball profit by $11 MM over the next 3 years. Meaning the right hire here pays the buyout over time.

Isn't this what we were told about BK before he was fired. Where's the money coming from?
After BK was fired, didn't we keep hearing, where is the money going to come from to get Kiffin AND give him a big enough NIL budget.
I think this group has the ability to raise the money. They can't afford not to in this situation.

If Wade does in fact want to come back then it will happen. If not they may give Mcmahon another year and more $$$ to rebuild a team, Injuries did in fact affect this years team. Doesn't mean you spend $15 mil to "hopefully" find another coach. Finding the money for the buyout isn't the issue. It's whether Wade will actually leave if they do.
