I just saw "if we start scoring like Houston does, our defense will suffer"

Imagine being so fricked in the head about our current offensive situation that you conveniently forget what Alabama is doing right now offensively and defensively.

A great offense and great defense can co-exist with each other.

We would be more like Alabama than Oklahoma if we were to get a guy like Kendal Briles as the OC.

The key is to still keep physicality on offense (iron sharpens iron) and recruit to keep depth on the defense. These are both within the control of the staff.

Nope. It's one or the other - the stronger your defense, the worse your offense.

It's science.

I don't care what offense we run, as long as we get points on the board. Can't win if you don't score.

I mean, if we're simply looking at the facts (results), we ask ourselves: when did LSU last have a really good offense?

2013...the year the defense was middle of the pack

everyone is bamacessed.....You have to be...You will always compare this team to the best team to see where our failures and where we can improve...Why? because we cant beat them and seems like nobody else can either...so all these people calling out Bama-cessed are kidding themselves...they are the measuring stick of College football whether you like it or not...so yes i will compare our team (LSU) to whoever is on top year in and year out because they are obviously doing something right

It's infuriating that we watch our inept offense waste playmakers such as Marshal and Chase all while Bama evolves their offense into one of the best this decade in college football.

Bull shite! A good defense only needs to play 3 plays before they get a breather!!!!

2011 LSU defense was arguably the best College Football defense of all time....they scored for us when our offense couldn't even.

Alabama is a complete outlier, obviously.

The dense is on the field most of the time as it is, so they (the offense)might as well be scoring points rather than not.

They're the best damn team in the country by a mile and have been for the better part of a decade. If you don't look at what they do as the pinnacle of how to build a program, you're an idiot.

No, going that route is completely senseless. Why do we have to keep our physicality? If we score points it doesnt fricking matter. This fan base needs to stop pushing to do things just because they've always been done. It's about winning.
