This is a natty caliber defense being wasted with a dog crap offense.

Again, Ole Miss had the worst run defense in the SEC and you can’t find a few packages to get our dual threat QB out there? Kelly and Sloan are jokes.

I get MVB is much more athletic than Nuss running the ball, but he's not a Jayden Daniels mold. He's not some electric runner. He wasn't super successful running the ball at MSU.

Yes, anyone is better than Nuss running it, he's a statue that can't seem to take an easy 5 yards when given to him.

MVB's legs at least give him a chance to buy more time

Seem to be lacking a change up to be used in the offensive game plan.

Nuss has flat out held this team back the deep passing take is nonexistent with him

And you think Van Buren would be able to make those deep passes.

QB is a position where experience is key and Nuss (even when is hurt) has more experience and will be able to manage the game better.

If MVB comes in a throws a couple of pick sixes, we will be spotting the best defense in the country a bad situation.

All those procedure penalties, burned timeouts, terrible picks, refusing to run, and missed wide open scoring throws surely manage the game well. Manages to keep it close.

Watch Auburn vs LSU 2020. We were starting a true freshman QB, because Miles Brennan had suffered a season ending injury in the previous game. We lost 48-11 on the road at Auburn. One of the worst losses in LSU history.
Auburn was 6-5 that year, with a bowl game.

LINK

@Auburn 2014 with a redshirt freshman QB. 41-7. Auburn was 8-5 that year.

Underclass men do not start over upperclassmen unless the talent differential significantly favors the under classman.

Here Nuss is the more talented QB, irrespective of years of experience.

Now if we had Bryce Underwood, I think he would be starting right now and Nuss (considering his injuries) would be coaching from the sidelines.

The more “talented” qb still makes bone headed mistakes and is currently injured
