I am obviously really excited about the win yesterday, but not as much as I had hoped. I just can't shake the feeling that LSU won the 1st of a series and that the team they beat is still very much alive.

Listening to the national talking heads (that is my biggest mistake) is watering down my enjoyment.

I know that I should relish the victory, but don't think I will fully until Alabama is eliminated from playoff contention.

Please help me enjoy this victory to the fullest

Bama will lose to Auburn.

Either way, last night was a killshot.

They're not getting in but if they do we will give them the business on a neutral field

Congrats on your 3rd downvote. My only regret is that I couldn't have been your first.

Get over it. Man up and get ready to beat Bama twice.

Everyone was saying that Bama is out with a loss. If the narrative changes then the whole system is a joke. If Bama gets in over a one-loss PAC XII champ (Oregon hopefully), then it will be the 3rd time they’ve backdoored their way in, and that’s absolutely inexcusable.

I do not even care about Bama at this point. We have Burrow and he just flamed that Bama defense. The LSU offense has not peaked yet, imaging how good it will be in a month. We dominated them with the exception of a few rookie mistakes that will not happen again. They get in, that arse being whooped again. This is not 2011.

I hope we don’t have to play them again, BUT unlike 2011 we actually have a coaching staff that will prepare, a team that is capable and a QB that has the will to beat that Bama butt a second time. And won’t it be sweet when we do?

When is the last time you saw LSU put up 45+ points on Bama. This is a different team!

Yes, the Tua fumble was huge. But, we dominated the pace of the game. We relied on "big" plays a lot less.

Take away their biggest 3 plays AND our biggest three plays, the game is then a lot more like a 35 to 21 game.

Yes, big plays are part of the game, but this was a dominant performance by an LSU team that simply doesn't quite have the killer instinct (on defense this time), that the regular season 2011 team had.

Big plays by Bama usually beat us. Last night - they merely kept it closer than it should have been, frankly.

That's the point, slot of people will want turmoil just as in '11.

The bs in 11 brought o. The cfp and more bs will get the expansion many want.

They lost, it happened, we all saw it. They no longer control their own destiny. Focus on the old fashioned country arse whoopin that LSU is about to put on Ole Miss next week.

We were 3 busted plays away from that being a rout.

Post less.

Maybe this will help:

LSU scored the most points ever for an opponent in the history of Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Bama scored 40+ points on LSU for the first time in over 70 years and still LOST.
