I can't wait until they drop down a Disco Ball to the 50 yard line... so the light show will reflect all over the stadium and "It's Raining Men" will be playing over the new sound system....... It will be a magic night for all the night show lovers.

Honestly don’t remember any light show. The mountainous backdrop was cool. The team was not ready or motivated. So disappointing that we had zero band.

We were in the first row and right behind Woodward for the start. He had his arms crossed and had seen enough early and walked off the field shaking his head. He knew.

Fun as hell, huh? I always heard that hell isn’t very fun at all.

That was a light show? You can get about the same effect by hitting the dimmer switch on your car's headlights.

That seemed very high school-esque. Go look at Auburns.

I want the lights to go dark, purple back lights and smoke billowing as they play the montage video that ends with “it is Saturday night in DV” and then Voodoo Child begins to play and the team comes out.

I was at that game and the video does not do justice to bump it gave. The energy was awesome during that song.

I know how we played but will go to my grave thinking that if the band was there we might have turned it around. Every time we made a play or had a stop there was no energy after the initial cheer.

I was there and don't even remember it so it couldn't have been that big of a deal. I will grant you I was hammered. When I was getting on the shuttle to the stadium from the hotel I had a big mixed whiskey drink in a cup. They said sorry no alcohol on the bus. I was like this is just a coke. He said I doubt that. I was like well prove it take a sip but watch out for my herpes. He just gave in and let me on the bus.

“Humbled” isn’t the word I’d use for that. I’ll say that it definitely brought energy into the stadium though. Even the LSU fans were dancing along. The only people in the stadium that were lifeless during that were standing on the visitors sideline.

To the old folks: sorry, but the world is moving forward. You’re more than welcome to listen to sports on your AM radio while I enjoy games on my 75” OLED TV. You can bitch about piped in music and LED light displays, but the kids love it and recruits eat it up.
