I honestly didn't think Tua was the greatest thing since sliced bread

He gets a ton of protection and makes some great throws from that, but I just don't see him in the Drew Brees category of consistent precision.

I guess what I'm saying is that he's human, not the superman everybody painted him to be.

Having said all that, I'd sure love to have him on OUR side.

If we had any offense at all, it would have been maybe 9-7 at the half...without Devin White...Tue is amazing, just shows how good our Defense is.

Don’t let hyperbole cloud things he’s great. He made a throw on a 3rd down in I think the 2nd Q under pressure and the WR made a spectacular catch, not anyone could make that throw

I'm not "amazed" by him.

I was amazed with Cam Newton.... not as great a passer, but a more amazing quarterback.

He’s one of the best passers I’ve ever seen in person. He made a number of incredible throws and is a very good athlete. He’s a college sophomore but not as good as Brees? No fricking kidding

If we had a competent offense, It would have been a struggle for Bama to reach 20 points.

And never will be. :)

I'm not saying he isn't excellent, but I've seen more precise college quarterbacks. I'm thinking Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Baker Mayfield...

He has the one quality or gift in a QB you can’t teach... elite ACCURACY. He’s Greg Maddux.. similar to Brees, Brady, etc

Yeah, not too many players do I think “frick we’ve gotta deal with this a-hole another year”

Tua is one of those players.

He's not that great, all of Alabama Quarter backs looks great because of Alabama O-Line.

Well the only time the outcome of that game was in doubt is when Tua went down with the injury for a play. Thought we had a chance at that point.

Idk if it was him or the blue bloods around him, but he made some "how the F*#k did he pull that off?" kind of reaction from the crowd. I can think of a handful of 3rd down throws that he pulled off like that

25 of 42 is really not the stuff of greatness when your OL protects you like the palace guard.

I thought he was the real deal.

If I had to say anything negative about him is I think he can be a little too reckless with the ball. There were a couple times when LSU had him and were about to sack him and he just threw the ball in the air trying to make a play that could have resulted in pics.

But in that offense you can afford to take chances.

I think he is a great player and will be glad when he goes to the NFL.

That deep ball to Irv Smith was a thing of beauty. Yea he has great weapons, but he’s a damn good QB.

Or at least Arkansas's offense. In fact LSU would have won.

No doubt about that. I'm just saying he's not as incredible as he was made out to be.
