With what we lost, there is no doubt we are rebuilding. Starting a true freshman qb is not a bad thing at all. I won't be upset if we don't win. I want to see them compete and get better. In 2 years, we will be stacked. For now, it is what it is. This isn't our year...but it will be again very soon. Geaux Tigers!!

No..I'm a realist. Don't give a frick what happens after winning the NC and losing 15 starters. Coach O gets a pass. You are an idiot if you expect last year's second team to dominate college football. We will get there...but this isn't our year. Experience for the young guys is crucial.

Agree. I want to see a fired up tiger team take the field and play fast and aggressive. Don’t really care about Winning as long as they play hard the whole game.

That’s a little pessimistic.

In the SEC they don’t control their own destiny. We could go 8-2 and Bama would still have to lose again. And we’re not getting in the playoff without winning the conference.

Not that it matters.

I think we are stacked again next year but of course it all depends on who leaves early. The 2018 signing class, early departures, and opt outs are hurting us this season. I would expect at least 14-15 starters back next year and many others who will get PT this year. The 2019 and 2020 signing classes are strong across the board.

if you never have expectations, you will never be disappointed.

Or we just watched them play 3 games and came away with the impression that they just weren’t good enough to beat MSU and Mizzou, 2 bad teams.

I think LSU could lose 7 games this year. I think it could get ugly, folks.

I care about winning this year like every season. I predicted we'd be 7-3. BUt, after watching our D play, I do not think we can win even 3 games UNLESS our D makes a 180 degree turn.

As for Carolina, I expect we'll lose unless our freshmen qb's can play like seasoned juniors.

Dabo and Sabamm reload EVERY season. You're ok with LSU being unable to reload. That's cool for you I reckon, but it ain't cool for others.

So it’s ok to have a losing season after a NC? When was the last losing season at LSU?

IMO a losing season should guarantee Pelini gone this year, and O on the hot seat unless he’s in contention for the SEC next year.

Why is it so fragile every year for LSU but so very easy every year for Clemson and Alabama? I desperately need someone to explain this to me. I've been trying to fully be able to fathom this for close to a decade now. .
