Black was really baffling last season.

I think part of the reason the line will be better is because of the new guys.

No more Black, Hitt, hopefully no more T-Bob.

A fresh offensive line.

Several changes on the O line, Moffit being well again, along with Ben W, Ensminger, Gonzales additions change the offense but definition. Gonzales will produce better WR blocking that we've had in the past.

Shep WILL get more touches as he will have settled into 1 position.

JJ will have improved footwork and more confidence to let it go some this year.

Those are all reasons why we should be better. It's really simple, if we're not better Les has not done his job and we need to make a change at that point.

I could go into a lot of scenarios as to why I think we will be better offensively, but of course they are all just my opinions that hopefully will see fruition come game time:

1. Improved interior line that is much more physical, bigger and stronger. Run game improves and so to does the passing game.
2. More diverse WR core.
3. More experienced QB (this cannot be discounted)
4. Additions of Big Ben and Gonzo to the staff

Dukke, you really think that our offense will be worst than last years?

QB will be better by virtue of experience.
RB will be as good or better.
OL will absolutely be better (only one way up!)
WR may see a small step backwards, lots of potential
TE is more athletic but smaller?

You have a Head Coach and OC that have ZERO conidence in the QB. [IT showed ALL of last year]

You're basing their confidence on what you thought you saw LAST YEAR?

BASH me all you want. BUT this team hasn't given me any reason that they will come out with what they need. A SMACK-YOU-IN-THEMOUTH type attitude.

The playbook is about 100 pages and the coaches will only use about 15[ YOU saw this last year.] Another year will help the QB position???? NOT cutting down ANY player. The coaches jobs are to TEACH THE GAME OF FOOTBALL at this level.

BOTTOM LINE is that. WE HAVE talent, but it can take you only SO FAR if YOU CAN'T TEACH IT.

Im just gonna ignore all this because its just mindless ranting

Everyone remembers the huge improvements JaMarcus Russell made from his Sophomore to his Junior year. I'm not saying Jefferson is as good as JaMarcus, but his stats weren't that far off from JaMarcus' Sophomore stats.

Jefferson will make some good improvements. You learn a lot from your first year as a starter.

You have said RIGHT THERE that you are worried about the MOST IMPORTANT THING.

WR may see a small step backwards, lots of potential

POTENTIAL SUCKS. I WANT RESULTS FROM A COACH THAT MAKES $4 MIL A YEAR.

Actually it's simple.

Use bigger offensive lineman.
Run ball more.
Profit.

So because they lacked confidence in JJ last year they cant have confidence in him THIS year? Exactly how long have you thought about this?

Teams and players change from season to season. For some reason you think every team in the SEC can improve except LSU

Duke, one thing to remember. The schedule sets up nicely. I don't think UNC will have an offense, I know Vandy won't, Miss. State, WV, and Tenn at home in first five. Tenn has no offensive line, no QB, and no Eric Berry on D. I'm telling you, if we don't start at least 4-1, I'll be very surprised.
