I have already ENJOYED myself this year more than ALL last year

We have a great defense.
We have great special teams.
We have great individual playmakers on offense.
We have more young players flying around then I can remember in 35 years of watching LSU football.
Seriously.
We are an underdog again, with a big-arse chip on our shoulders.
We have PP,Shep, Shep, Nevis, Jasper, that DE rotation, et al on the same team.
Last year, like in 2004,and unfortunately, other years, it felt almost like WORK to watch the Tigers.
This year, we have our identity as a fierce blitzing, crisp-tackling,turnover-producing team back.
We ALL know the limitations of this offense, but with Shep, Ridley, RR, TT and pretty solid Oline we have great home run ability (see Shep week 1 & 2) that is fun to watch.
LSU football is fun again.
Not perfect, not dominant in every phase, but FUN.
IMHO, that's half the battle.
(If you disagree and/or call me names the terrorists have won)

agreed
defense has been fun to watch the first 3 games.
last year was pretty painful, try watching replays of games last year. it's a chore.

Yeah..kind of enjoy the us against the world mentality. Seems to fit the team, us and our region much better.

Exactly
+1
Like I said before the season began. This is a better team than last year (and that has been proven beyond what I hate hoped) and would be an exciting year. We over acheived last year so our Reg. Season record might not be better but the team is better and will be exciting to watch.

The defense has everyone enjoying the games a lot more IMO. People have missed that.

If you are not enjoying the opportunity to watch PP and Shep, then you really can't enjoy LSU football.
We might go years, decades without those UNIQUE skill-sets.
You don't want to be the guy in 20 years saying "You should have seen PP, he was the best I ever saw,I hated every minute of it"...

It seems like the quotes from Sheppard, Peterson, Ridley, etc. seem to be much more positive and team-oriented than player quotes in the past couple of years. The team is a blast to watch and I agree that the players appear to be truly having fun.
This year so far is not about Jean-Francois talking about hurting Tebow, it's about Nevis grabbing a big chocolate chip cookie. Totally enjoying it.

SO true.
They have each other's back.
It's fun to watch.
They have an uncommon chemistry.
I bet DeAngelo makes it better this week too !
Add another ingredient.

I'd still rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork than watch the offense, but I'll admit the special teams, defense, and youngsters are pretty fun to watch. Its definitely an improvement.

I agree. It's much better and I'm enjoying it again.

The offense is not THAT bad, is it?

Last year was the first time ever that I had trouble re-watching games that we won.
