I have a real concern about JD and his health running so much.

I really believe that JD is the QB because of the OL concerns that BK had coming into season. JD's running ability's are obvious reasons for the FSU come back and Miss St win. Last night JD took some shots and he looked visibly in pain after a couple.
If he is hurt (God I pray he does not get hurt) does Jamie allow the Red Shirt to possible come on Walker? I believe with JD LSU can win every game on Schedule except Alabama. Realistically LSU is a 2 to 4 loss team.

As another poster said, Daniels has to run for us to win. His passing abilities just aren't good enough to make him a consistent threat throwing the ball. If I'm Jamie Howard, I would not let Kelly burn Walker's red shirt during a season where we obviously are not going to contend for any kind of championship. This team is going to take its lumps during SEC play, and will probably lose at least 3 more games. We all knew going into the season that this would be the case. Hopefully Walker Howard can get some valuable experience during the season that will allow to him to challenge for the starting position next season, but I just don't think it would be worth it to throw away a year of eligibility on a season where we're not going to compete for the SEC.

Redshirt is not coming off. They want it, which is great for us. And, I am surprised you would even want to use him for an 8-4 season that you suggested is a real possibility. If we were 7-1 with remarkable improvement between now and Bama I could possibly see it, but that is not happening and nobody should want the redshirt pulled otherwise.

bama's LB's for one group won't get beat this easily. According to several articles, he's been trying to put on weight since his teens. Brennan was here for 6 yrs trying to do the same. Don't see him lasting the season, fingers crossed I am wrong.

As the Oline improves. Our QB alternatives increase. Daniel’s was beat up last night.

He is a one read guy and does not have a Very accurate arm.
The fourth down pass was perfect. The long run at the end of the first half was great.

He almost certainly wont make it to November if we continue to rely on his running.

No, I don't want it but now in the situation if NUSS gets hurt who plays QB. If the kid is as good as a lot of people are saying. Walker will only see 2 playing years at LSU. Then off to the NFL and Hall of Fame. I mean hell he hasn't even played and some you this board thinks he should be nominated to College football Hall this year.
