This - I dont mind playing alabama, but we shouldnt have to beat them once in the regular season and then again in the playoffs just to win it all.

Iron strengthens iron. Look at OU and Texas. They basically have no competition other than each other and it shows usually when they play out of conference in bowls. They just don’t have to get up for those big games and stay sharp.
