He lost his two best players to injury, but he hasn’t done much even before then. He needs to go. Bring back Will Wade.

As the head coach, that seems like kind of a problem

Of course, he needs to be fired. You can want someone gone and have empathy at the same time. That’s all I’m saying. Stop being a ruthless human and find an ounce of compassion

L o l.
You put wade in there with all those good coaches on the list.
He is at least two or three notches below them

He had lots of success in the Ohio Valley. He's a better fit for a mid-major program but lacks both the energy and the skill to cut it in a P4 conference.

McMahon needs to geaux-- maybe he'll return to a faltering Murray State at the end of this season, and avoid the firing squad.

He’s overmatched and we obviously need to move on and reset the program. But still just feel bad for him for some reason.

agreed…I always feel sorry for coaches when they are on the hot seat. They have got a shitty job that is subject to scrutiny from every angle. I guess they know that when they choose their profession, though,

4. You can tell he’s pouring his heart into this job and program despite being placed in a terrible situation and it just isn’t working. How can you tell that, exactly?

I actually observe the exact opposite…he seems to be going thru the motions…doesn’t look stressed or upset at all….I look worse than McM after a 5th grade basketball loss

I like him and he walked into a horrible situation. I’ve been supportive of him getting more time. After this week…I’m officially done.

Glad you finally saw the OBVIOUS. But the most ridiculous excuse I've heard is "he walked into a horrible situation." You know which SEC school was in a horrible situation? Missouri. They were 0-18 in the SEC last season and 8-24 overall. Somehow Missouri was able to turn around their BB program in a grand total of 1 season. Now they are 17-6 and 6-4 in the SEC. This ridiculous MYTH about how you need 3 years to turn around a BB program is utter nonsense!

Yea Vandy and Mizzou were both rock bottom last year, but this year are both solid tournament teams, #'s 48 and 24 Kenpom respectively; and Vandy has a brand new coach from a mid-major program!

Why would you feel bad for a man who has made millions of dollars and continues to perform poorly?

We pay coaches to win games. He is not accomplishing that. He must be fired.

This isn’t rocket science.
