Not quite sure what you're bulling, you just basically quoted my whole post. The refs blew the damn whistle so many times I lost count. The teams shot a combined 67 FT's and that was just the shooting fouls that were called. We're not even talking the stupid non shooting, before the bonus ticky tack stuff.

I dont understand the last shot of the game. Why does bo or tasmin not drive to the basket instead of shooting a fall away 3 pointer. They have been calling everything a foul all night. Why not try to get in there and draw a foul, if not even get a 3 point play?

because gary crowton called that play

LSU was already down 2 players from fouling out. Tired, on the road, they needed to go for the win right there. And I'd highly doubt the refs would call a foul in the last few seconds of a basketball game. Its rare as hell.

"The problem I had with the officiating was that they wildly swung back and forth from "let them play" to calling every little thing."

I watched the game from start to finish and completely agree with this. At one point, the action would be wild and woolly with the whistles swallowed and then you get a touch foul.

One thing that could help is our team playing a little more D with their feet and a little less with their hands. Still, the officiating was pretty odd.

I'm calling bull on what I quoted. The refs certainly did NOT "call everything". they went long stretches in which they called nothing. Then suddenly went into lockdown. They were just inconsistent as all hell, which is the mark of a poor official.

During regulation, I agree. LSU hits key FTs (yes, the refs put us on the FT line enough to close it out) it is over.

But OT was a joke.

WSU shot a free throw on EVERY OT POSSESION except their first and last trips down their end.

That's a joke.
