Deion Sanders also said LSU was the most instructual and organized camp he’s been to.

It doesn’t have a damn thing to do with me disagreeing with anybody on here.

My point is that you're calling people pussies for disagreeing with OP that this commitment of a 3* star CB is somehow a huge win for Coach O in June. Some people, myself included, prefer to wait until signing day to see if these guys actually sign. I'm not sure why they would make someone a pussy though.

Recruiting is O's calling card, it's really where he made his name, it landed him the Ole Miss job when in all other aspects he was totally unqualified...he's gotta recruit well. And I hope when the ink dries that's the reality.

have a good clsss but we have 13 commits and

12 and 2 are a kicker and long snapper so of course they’ll affect the overall ranking being 2 stars

Because a 3* DB committed? Lol

You probably said the same thing when greedy committed.

The last 5 Star DB we signed (Stevens) might not even be in the 2 deep in his second year here.

Sorry, 3* don’t move the needle nor should they result in sunshine pumping threads about putting an amazing class together lol.

Really?? You recruit the number 2 class for over five straight years and don't even sniff the playoffs?? Is that how recruiting works, buddy?

Lol. Say what? Who did this and what the hell are you talking about? You said having a great recruiting class should translate to winning the championship this year. That is definitely not how recruiting works.

Well his commitment did jump us from 15 to 9 in the class rankings, so I guess it moved the needle a little bit, huh?

Kid lost his father in March from complications after surgery and said “I don’t see it as leaving the state(Texas), I see it as going home for college” upon committing

Yet idiots like you are harping on the pickup because he’s a “3 Star”

That's because of quantity. If you go by average, LSU would be at 18 in front of mighty Ole Miss.

Kind of hard to go by average when you have a long snapper and a kicker. Besides, the ranking formula does a good job of accounting for different class sizes by awarding fewer points for the guys at the end of the class.

York and Skinner only account for about 6 points in the rankings. Our next lowest guy is .87. That's pretty solid to have your lowest non-specialty player being ranked that high.

I guess that's fair. I'm no recruiting expert, I just go by those numbers. Let's hope the class ends up as good as people expect it to be.

Don’t really are what his star ranking is after looking at his offer list.

Bama
Georgia
Auburn A&M
Michigan
Ohio State
Florida
Oklahoma
Stanford
Tennessee
Texas

I think he’s good lol

A thread just like this popped up when Jaren Handy "committed". A lot of the same comments were made about how Orgeron was the man and people who said wait until signing day wanted him to lose blah, blah, blah. How long was he committed, 12 days? Has anyone created an "I told you so" thread since Gunnell committed elsewhere even though LSU fans had him penciled here already? No, because it's fricking June and no one knows what these kids are going to do in December and February.

I'm not really sure why the thread progressed past this post. This should have been /thread.

ETA: I see it's because EXPLAYER stumbled in here and dropped stupidity all over the thread. Carry on.

ETAA: And the guy with the Bama logo proceeded to throw a strange little bitch fit.

This thread has been a fun read.

I don't believe anyone wants LSU to lose but would welcome the head coach be fired . I do also think some here would take a so so season for a coaching shake up
