I had to log out of tv provider (Cox) on the Apple TV itself. Then launch the ESPN app and it allowed me to connect to the espn3 feed. Apparently the ESPN+ supersedes the Cox account and it wouldn’t release. Grrrrr

I have AT&T TV Now and I got the same response. However, my internet is Xfinity and it let me watch through that.
