Even before they put Reed in, the Aggies had schemed their offense to take Weeks out of the game. They were very effective at it.

This game is just an absolute anomaly the way it played out. The Aggies are satanic and did a black out right before Halloween. They did some kind of ritual the only way I can think about it. The way our defense couldn’t do anything against a backup QB and Nuss throwing 3 INTs in a row

Looked like they sent a blocker, and if he pulled free, they had a 2nd guy on him. I saw this multiple times. But if they gave WW that much attention, why weren't other defenders getting tackles?

Guy had a good game last week so the rant inducted him into the hall of fame and now the poor guy is expected to play at that level for the rest of his career. Rant doing rant things

You’re an idiot. Dude led the sec tackles going into last night. He had 18 tackles vs Ole Miss.
Fyi- he didn’t pop, but 7 tackles and 2 solos last night. Just to clarify the false shite from OP

Because we don’t have a lot of great defensive players on this team. Dline has been better than I expected, but Linebackers and Safety play has been a major hole. Too many gaps missed, not enough speed, and tackling has been a liability all season.

The problem is that we only have a few difference-makers on defense. If you can take one out using scheme or avoid them, it can be a problem. It definitely caught up to us after Reed came into the game.
We need more elite talent to cancel this out. Thankfully, this staff is getting it done on the trail and help is on the way.

Weeks is a good spy on most mobile QBs, but Reed has some elite RB-like acceleration. He’s not your typical passing QB who can also run it. Without Perkins, he was a really bad matchup for our defense.

Bingo. I said similar after the game we just don’t have enough dudes rn. But the reinforcements are on the way cause the 2025 class is filled with elite dudes
