Maybe LSU makes a miracle comeback, but this feels like a backbreaker for the program.

He acts like we gave MM the ridiculous contract. Woody put us in this mess, he can fix it. Why should donors continuously have to clean up his messes?

Nobody he's bringing in matters, the guy is awful...I'm sorrry, he'll go back to a mid major and do well...but he can't cut it in the SEC.

I never understood the idea that Matt Moscona stated you had to give that type of contract to attract a good coach here given the circumstances.
No, you didn't have to. You basically gave yourself a death setence by firing Wade anyways. Why not hire someone on the short term and find someone else again if you need to? I don't know. I just don't agree with the idea that you had to give that kind of contract to someone that wasn't highly coveted.
Wasn't LSU pretty bad when they hired Wade? My regret is LSU didn't support their guy through it. Not much even came from it. Never felt like much would come from it given the state of college athletics now. Meaning even though it happened before NIL, I never thought much would come from it.

Not going to bash him or the players… it wasn’t the fit lsu needed to get to the upper half of the conference.

At this point it’s not a surprise they lose. Nor should you be disillusioned by the margin of the loss. What it looked was a boxer who had no desire to mix up after getting pounded thru 7 rounds of a scheduled 10 rounder, and McMahon in the role of the fighters’s manager offering little encouragement between rounds.
