Talking about the fans coming back out. Obviously winning cures all but how many of you think people will come back out and give this guy some support early on? How many of you who haven't been going to the games or many of the games will go out out more often early on? Will you come back if we lose a game or 2?

i think having an LSU guy in there will do a little something to reinvigorate the fanbase.

That being said, if they suck something awful, it won't last long.

What if they are about as good as this year or maybe a little better but more fun to watch (faster paced)?

I hope CJJ brings in some big name opponents. That would deff help. Trent did a terrible job of this.

Considering he's a first year alumnus coach who's not going anywhere, I think being equal to this year will keep the crowd in it all year.

But just barely...year after that things need to improve. At least show some promise.

We're more forgiving to our own, IMO.

I think record wise we will be as good as last year. However attendance will be better for two reasons. One due to a new alumnus coach people will show up early in the season to give a look and two they will get hooked by an entertaining product. He stated over and over again that he wants to play fast and that he knows playing fast is fun to watch. I for one look forward to it.

frick Johnnie Jones. We deserve more.

Someone didn't get their nap today.

He isn't going anywhere. We may as well support him.

This was a horrible hire. It just furthers my believe that the LSU athletic dept doesn't give a frick about its basketball program.

If Johnny jones even runs a type of offense (any kind), it will be better than what Trent johnson put on the court (no offensive gameplan, low percentage shots frequently)

From what I've read, he wasn't even in the top 5 in consideration. I think a lot of people turned us down.

I will always go to a few games every year, if my schedule will allow it.

Whatever. This hire clearly shows that we don't give a frick about basketball at LSU. I remember in the late 80s and early 90s, we gave a frick about basketball. I long for those days.

You mean when our football program was in the toilet?

Think those 2 could possibly be connected in terms of fanbase interest, smart guy?
