What did I miss? I thought this was a thread about LSU quarterbacks. I've never claimed to be the smartest man in the world though, just claim to not be the dumbest.

Apparently I now have a stalker. I have no idea where his Billy Cannon comment came from. I don't think I've ever posted anything "denigrating" Cannon.

He gave back to inmates at Angola, as well, don't forget. He'd go up there and do dental work.

You’re comments in response to a compliment to Billy Cannon:

You realize he was paid by the Dept of Corrections to do that, right? It wasn't volunteer on his part.

Eta: He lived on a farm in West Feliciana Parish about 20 miles from Angola.

You got several downvotes because it was POS comments to make just after The Legend passed away

Just my opinion of course.
Anyway...carry on...I’m done with this nonsense.

The other poster implied Dr Cannon did volunteer work at Angola to "give back" to the inmates. I pointed out he was an employee of the Dept of Corrections to deliver dental services to inmates and not a volunteer.

If you think that is disrespecting Cannon then you really are a snowflake. And a stalker.

Wasn’t you’re only comment.
You added he lived only 20 miles away.
It was denigrating and disrespectful. I’m not alone on this.
BTW...do you have an alter or a blow buddy...
Your 2 downvotes are extremely consistent.

This is just my opinion, so take it FWIW. If those facts are indeed correct, then they are just that facts. It's not a positive or negative statement. I'm not sure why some people on the board think that facts can be perceived either way.

However, I do understand that people can be sensitive to the passing of an LSU legend and someone that is widely viewed as the best football in the history of the school.

That's not denigrating nor disrespectful.

There was an article in the paper the morning I posted that information that discussed his work at Angola with the inmates and how he cleaned up the healthcare mess there, not just the dental healthcare but the warden put him in charge of coordinating all healthcare for inmates.

The article mentioned he bought a farm in the St Francisville area of West Feliciana Parish where he raised race horses and also so that he could be closer to the prison in order to be on call in case there was a dental/medical emergency where he was needed quickly.

I thought it was interesting information that he moved closer to Angola which few people would know about. I sure didn't know it.

So I guess the paper was disrespectful of Cannon by telling that story about him?

Obviously you've got issues, stalker.

And your obsession with upvotes and downvotes is very revealing about you.

Who gives a crap about them except someone like you who obviously craves approval, and fears disapproval, from complete strangers? I sure don't.

He's probably not.

It's also possible Burrow is not ready yet either. Hopefully his extra 2 seasons of college football has matured him enough to handle the pressure.

Fun fact: Burrow has a grand total of 105 more passing yards in his college career than Brennan has in his.

Remember how excited they were for Harris? “OMG Brandon Harris was wearing purple socks!!!” They turn on them as quick as they start to struggle. All I’ve been reading about is Brennan’s “garbage hs competition.” Im sure they were all so well aware of that while he was actually in high school.

Barring injury, Burrow will be our starter for the vast majority of the season.
More than likely the entire season.

Chill out. Context and intentions can be tricky with pure text. He stated some facts to clear up something that was incorrect. You took it the wrong way. Move on.
