As for sticking my head in the sand, that's retarded. I've been very straight about my expectations for lsu. If lsu and O doesn't meet them, then you will hear me calling to fire his arse. But, I know you don't want to hear that. Seems you would rather keep up what is an obvious agenda. In any event...have a good one.

I don't really have much faith in CoachO as the long term LSU head coach, but also think we need to let this season play out and then make a definitive move in regards to our future.
One more debacle like Miss St last year, and he should be gone.

Ridley weighed 220, Hilliard was over 230, on an offense designed to pound the ball and move the pile.
Magee started 1 game in his career, he was a change of pace back.
I've seen Helaire listed anywhere from 190 to 213, and as of now he's the most touted guy in the backfield. If we had a hammer to complement him, I'd feel more confident.
We MIGHT have that hammer. And I do agree having one in the toolbox is necessary. Of course there's Curry; freshman, unproven completely. So we can hope there.
I think there is another, often overlooked. David Ducre. Yes, unproven... to us. But the staff has seen enough of him in practice/scrimmages to know what we have. I have very high hopes for him this year. Kind of a Darrell Williams replacement. I think he's got the skills and maybe just a tad bit more speed than Williams. Do not know if he's got the hands.
He's going to make a good compliment to CEH, who is an every-down back. Again, I think size/weight has led some to think he's a Sproles or scat back. This is just flat wrong. CEH definitely has wiggle, has plenty of speed, great balance, and damn good strength. When you have all the tools, you don't need prototype frame.

Meh, too much talent and Dave Aranda I think we win 8-9 regular season despite my concerns about our head guy.
Now we were pretty much doing that before with the guy we fired so.....I guess we need to be patient.

Patience is in short supply around here.
This should be O's future deciding season.
I'm pulling for LSU 100% as always, but if we need to pull the trigger and move on, so be it.
