I have no ill feelings towards ULL or it's fans and think this "hatred" that has been shared between both fan bases leading up to this weekends' series is comical at best. Yes. I would root for ULL if they made it to Omaha

Sorry guys. I don't have time to hate every in state school that feels slighted by LSU's national recognition. I'll save my hatred for all of our SEC opponents, not ULL, ULM, Tulane, and La. Tech.

Exactly. It amazes me how fans can root for other SEC teams (our real competitors) and dog our little brother in-state schools. So what if they're jealous of our success? All this hate for ULL is unjustified IMO. They represent the state of Louisiana really well just like LSU, and we all should be proud of them.

CrescentCityTiger, you must be in your late teens, early 20's I am guessing if you honestly do not understand the relationship between ULLLLL & LSU fans. You obviously have no idea of all the shite that has gone down over the past few decades. I've said it before & will say it again: I'll pull just as hard for ULLLL as its fans will pull for LSU. Not happening, trust me.

I'm in my mid 30s and no I honestly don't understand the hostility. Other than a little jealousy from them, which doesn't bother me, I don't see the issue with them.

Why would anyone pull against a Louisiana team?? This is not like Auburn-Alabama or Ole Miss-Miss St., this is a smaller state school and I wish them all the luck in the world, just like I did Tulane when they beat LSU to advance that year. To me, to pull against a Louisiana team is sacrilegious!
