No I’m just a smart LSU fan that doesn’t want to give every player a participation trophy for throwing on the purple and gold.

You call yourself a “smart LSU fan” and yet you think Hal Hughes has been recovering from surgery for three years. You said that we don’t want Hal to play but you have not given us your better option at this point. I’m not sure if this is your first year watching or following baseball, but players do often improve throughout their college careers. What purpose does it serve to bash a player based off him being thrusted into a starting role early in his career before his bat had developed? Why not just hope he succeeds? Also, this team winning a conference or national championship does not hinge on whether Hughes is playing or not. It’s absurd to say we won’t win with Hughes playing.
