I wish they would bump Hurst inside and move Collins out to tackle.

Do yall think Collins is our "T.Bob" for next year? Playing OG and OT. He's such a talent I have a hard time believing he's not going to be starting...but the guys ahead of him have serious experience.

Like Maximus & many others, I believe Collins will be a star. I am sure Josh D will return, but I hope the staff realizes La'el should be the Man--I do not believe it would be a huge loss if Josh D leaves. The Tigers' OL did just fine without him this season. I also won't miss T-Bob, JJ or Lee either--I can see the successors to all of them being updgrades at those positions.

i'm not really worried as much as interested. Simon is going to be a monster. He could have 15 INTs this year if he didn't have so many drops

Very true. I love Simon too.

I'm just so excited for football in 2012, starting January 9th.

look where he is going instead of just trying to run over a linebacker for a gain of zero

I think this is what he is asked to do to some extent

T bob better not even play on Jan 9th until the game is out of hand. I watched the 11.5 game back and he was a 7 point swing at least on his own. He plays center and bounces the snap to J Lee who shits his pants and throws the first INT. He also completely missed a blitzing LB right up the gut at center on another play and J Lee had to throw the ball away. Then after DA CLAY PIGEON picks off the pass and gives us first down on the fricking bama 15, T Bob gets completely blown up 2 plays in a row at RG and kills the drive so we have to settle for a field goal.

yeah i'm sure when its 3rd and 2, he is asked to get tackled for no gain to wear out the defenders so Ford and Blue can have an easy life in the 2nd half.

I agree..... T. Bob was a big liability when going against a dline that had any talent.

Was that the one where JL got crushed and basically lost his confidence the rest of the game/season?

Yeah, I like Ware because he does wear out the defenders for the 2nd half. But that's when we're playing Tennessee, Florida, and Kentucky. Not Alabama.

Oh, and his little spin move is a fumble waiting to happen against Alabama too.

I think Hilliard is capable of running the option assuming he catches the pitch. I want him and Ford to get the majority of the carries, with Blue and Ware getting touches as well.

I love Blue, don't get me wrong. He's got great vision and is the fastest back we have. He should definitely be used in this game a lot.

yeah. But hey, he has a cool french nickname and his dad is on WWL so he should play half of every game.

J. Lee had the fade wide open. QB rule never force the ball, if anything take a shot on the fade and put it out of bounds.

OK............i'll stop

he was another huge liability in the first Bama game. Watching it back you realize how many times we were actually driving on them then they'd give him the ball up the gut a couple times and kill the drive. Or give it to him near the goalline and its a guaranteed FG.

Has he really been spinning much since the WVU game?

He got cut happy. That's why Hilliard was successful b/c he was patient and followed the big boys...like Ware did last year and the first few games this season.

You want to move our First Team All-SEC OT inside just so Collins gets in a natural position for himself? Collins can be a beast at LG for us. Imagine him and Faulk blocking on the same side, true road graders.

He has't been getting the same amount as carries since then, honestly.

He didn't play against Kentucky. Then he got a lot of carries and played well against Florida and Tennessee (not even going to pretend if I know if he did the spin move in those games or not).

But ever since the suspension, has he even led us in rushing once in those 5 games? Maybe against Ole Miss, come to think of it, with his long run in that game. The carries have been so evenly distributed since then.

I said before the Alabama game that it wasn't Spencer Ware's game. Just like I said it wasn't Jarrett Lee's game (and boy I took shite for that). I believe both of those things the second time around. Hilliard, Ford, and even Blue will be more valuable in this game than Ware.
