I actually think the best use of a guy like him or Shepard for that matter is as a 3rd down back a la Kevin Faulk with NE. Shepard had great running skills and good enough receiving skills to be good out of the backfield. The problem becomes can he be an effective blocker if called upon.

Faulk was not a big guy either, similar height but a little thicker than Brazil is currently. If Faulk could become a good pass blocker there is no reason JB cannot become one too.

Of course JB will also have to show good receiving skills to be that 3rd down guy.

The question I have is how has Cam Cameron used these type of offensive players in the past? Has he had any?

I am more interested in what he has done vs what people on the rant think he should do or might do.

3rd down back. Hand him the ball on draws, pitch outs, inside screens, swings, and underneath passes. Use him like Sproles and Faulk get used. He fits in that mode.

I could see them using his speed to draw coverage deep and clearing out for intermediate throws underneath. He doesn't necessarily have to be the primary target but the defense will be well aware of where he is.

could put him in motion out of the backfield to a wide out. But for him to draw coverage he has to be an actual threat to catch the ball and be a primary target at times.

I agree. If you can force them to single up with a linebacker or safety, forget about it.

Sarcasm?

He did OK in his first collegiate game and I highly doubt Brazil is faster.

don't doubt it. Black Mamba 100m best time 10.57.
Jeryl Brazil has an official 10.49 time. Brazil just as fast. Brazil has Trindon Holiday type speed.

Brazil isn't" much much faster." There is a fraction of time between their posted records. They are pretty similar in speed.

Returns obviously. But he can do a bunch of things for you. Whenever you go from a running back like hill who can wear down a defense, to throwing in some lightening like jb, it definitely can be a game changer. He's something we haven't had. And CC is the perfect oc to utilize that
