3x1 Check with me all night long.

3 defenders on our 3, run. Read DE to trips side and run counters or darts.
3 defenders on our 3 with an overhang away, speed option and pitch off rover.

2 on our 3 throw bubble to inside receiver.

Easiest way to
A) Neutralize their speed
B) Run our "best case scenarios" against whatever they run

I may or may not be a coach though

Scratch that, I'm gonna line up in 5 wide and throw hail Mary's all game

On defense, engage 8 blitz every play

That's more like it. We all know "running up the middle" is just the same boring play every time right? To hell with blocking schemes and gaps, just throw the ball.

if you are, you damn sure live in big 12 country

Like the gameplay tho. Make those young secondary guys make plays. Similiar to my plan on using switch and wheel routes by 3x1 forms

I would run the west coast offense relying on short dumpoffs. Get your WRs in space and get rid of the ball quick so as to avoid the pass rush.

What I would do is stay in the huddle as long as possible and then sprint into formation right before the snap. This would allow me to keep the clock moving (as long as I'm making completions) and keep the defense from getting a good look at my formation prior to the snap.

On defense, I would load the box to stop the run and hope to god that my corners can play man on LSU's wideouts with safety's over the top deep. Force LSU to pass and try to keep pressure on Mett. No QB performs well on his back.

Hopefully next fall, I'll be putting that X&O knowledge to good use coaching somewhere as a GA

Best of luck. Coaching is a tough gig, but it takes a very intelligent/personable individual to do.

I would use the Lawrence Taylor strategy and send lots of hookers to the team to try to tire them out before the game.

If I was the opposing team.. I'd hope it went something like this..
Get your team ranked number 2 in the country.. and then play number 1 LSU at home.. hype it up as the game of the century.. "let" LSU win after they'd laid everything out on the field.. and then a few weeks later have everyone be like "mehhhh.. do it again.."

Then you don't know anything about OBJ and jarvis Landry...don't underrate them because they didn't have a QB last year..bad qb's can make good receivers look bad..

A 5'11 and a 6'0 WR with avg SEC speed isn't going to scare any opposing coach my friend. OBJ is good, just short. Landry has 4 career receptions to his name. I'll take my chances with them beating me

"Easy.... Hire Nick Saban"

Question was how do you beat LSU not how to beat LSU 50% of the time.

I say get rally the troops for a rematch, that seem to work
