Great unless Alabama is in a little trouble then a big call/no call or two will go in their favor - nothing changes.

If there is a way for Bama to get a break, rest assured, they will get it. As good as they are, they are also the luckiest team in America.

Its kind of A shame... No matter what happens tomorrow the refs will be blamed by LSU ans.... Evey time something good happens for Bama. It will be the refs that did it.... Everytime LSU fails it will be the REFS fault....

EACH team has the chance to run like 60 offensive plays..... There is ZERO way that the refs control all of them......

But for LSU fans... It will be the ones THEY want to choose and then blame the refs... IF LSU runs 60 plays they have A chance to score on EVERY ONE... It WILL NOT be the REFS fault that they don't..............

Steve Shaw may be the most honest, honorable man to have ever lived, but if you don't see an issue with the league allowing an alumnus of a member university to literally run officiating in the conference then I'm not sure what else I can say.

you do realize that officials in the SEC are almost certainly going to be guys that live in the south, and I'm not surprised at all that some (or most) of them certainly attended colleges in the region. So no, I don't see a problem with that at all.

Are you suggesting that the SEC specifically exclude any member school alum from being an official? Do you think that makes any sense at all?

Regardless of the crew officiating will not be a factor in who wins.
