It got better last year. Has the improvement continued?

Same boring show as last week. And....we can't hear them during the game.

Halftime shows are more entertaining, but numbers are down.

I did think that spelling out the word “beef” while playing the theme from the commercial was pretty lame.

I think they could probably block better than our O line.

Did the band march down the hill? I was running late and saw them come in by Mikes cage and the gift shop. Did I just miss it or something?

I have to disagree about more entertaining. I think most fans are getting tired of the "elementary school pictures" on the field. At first, it was somewhat interesting...but not anymore.
You are right about the numbers. The sound of the band is more like a (somewhat large) high school band. In fact, there are a number of high school bands in Texas that are better than LSU at halftime (sound - quality/quantity).

Slide trombones weren't working.

The band just doesn’t put out enough sound anymore like they used to. It’s sad to see but there are a number of different reasons. The number of brass isn’t where it needs to be and also the new director isn’t as big on playing loud as past directors and it shows

Tiger Band went from being the best marching band in the SEC to middle of the pack. When it comes to power of sound, they are near the bottom. You can barely hear them in the stands during the game.

I would say that Auburn has the best band in the SEC.

I’d probably agree, at least in terms of how loud they are. UGA’s band is also very loud. The sad thing is that Auburn’s band director is an LSU alum and former Tiger Band member. He was never approached about taking over Tiger Band when Frank Wickes retired or when Roy King was fired.

A&M’s band plays nothing but military-style music and their marching drills are impressive, but from a spirit standpoint, they suck.

no but I could hear them all through the game last night on tv. All I heard on LSU broadcast was that damned piped in music.

Whoever the Tiger Stadium "DJ" is, needs to be given his/her pink slip ASAP. As soon as the band starts to play, they start blasting that God awful noise over the PA system.

Bamas stadium is the worst for piped in music. Just a whole bunch of loud obnoxious sound clips. Awful.
