How was the 2019 LSU Florida game a prime time night game? They were both top 10 teams..

Watching some 2019 games to just distract myself from yesterday on a lazy holiday after a hectic weekend.

How was this game in prime time? Went back and looked at the SEC schedule for the week. It was TAMU/Alabama for the CBS game. Was saban/jimbo that much more of a draw? Or was this some sort of concession due to fallout from the LSU/Florida schedule issues after the hurricane game?

Why did Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler's fight on a Monday night?

We probably already had Auburn and Bama set for CBS and they didn't want 3 straight weeks of LSU. Also, Miss St was on CBS wasn't it?

I’m confused? Why was a top 10 matchup a prime time game?

Prime time as in night game. Not a 330 CBS game.

back then you had some different rules. CBS usually had 1 or 2 doubleheaders. Either an 11 and then 2:30 or the 2:30 and then 7:30 games.

Because of this ESPN got 1-2 weeks were they actually got first pick.
