Auburn Vs Akron was on “Sec+” last weekend. My friend, an auburn fan, had to subscribe to the “espn+“ subscription to watch the game.

it is not an SEC alternate channel

SEC Alternate is not the same as SECN+.

If you have AppleTV, Chromecast, Fire Stick or Roku you can. Or if you have a SmartTV you should be able to download the ESPN app there.

If so you can log in to the espn app with your provider credentials and watch “sec+” content.

Yes, I have SEC network on my crappy Suddenlink package but I cannot and have never been able to use my provider credentials to log into ESPN+.

Those credentials will not give you to ESPN+. It will give you access to SECN+. They are two separate things.

Thanks for the info Lunatik... I have SECN with my provider but don't feel like paying the 7 bucks a month for ESPN+;

So you are saying that I can use my provider credentials on the ESPN App and I should be able to stream the game?

If that's how I understand it, I'll try that and I have chromecast so I can cast it from my phone (sorry, kinda old fart here, so just asking again)?

That is correct.

Yes that will work. I would suggest getting it setup tonight then attempt to watch something that is being broadcast on the app currently then get it to cast to the Chromecast.

You won't be able to watch anything that is labled ESPN+ or that is under the ESPN+ header.

Log into the ESPN app with your Hulu credentials. That is if you are able to watch the SEC Network through Hulu.

The best way to watch the game is to not watch it.

Yall we’re correct. My bad.

SECSports.com

With a cable login, you can access SEC+ Games directly on the ESPN app.

Where do you think you watch SECN+ then if it's not on the ESPN app?

I literally just linked secsports.com, but I’ll go ahead and post the excerpt

quote:

Q: If a game is airing on both SEC Network+ and ESPN+ simultaneously, where do I watch? A: Both streams will be available in the ESPN App. SEC Network authenticated subscribers of AT&T TV, Cox, DIRECTV, DISH Network, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Optimum, Sling TV, Spectrum TV, Suddenlink, Verizon Fios, Xfinity TV, YouTube TV, Vidgo, members of the NCTC, as well as those with access to SEC Network through TV connected devices, can watch the game via SEC Network+. If you do not have access to SEC Network, you can access games via a subscription to ESPN+.

If you have a cable or satellite package with the SEC network, your login will allow you to watch SEC+ games on the ESPN app.

So I have the basic HULU streaming App from what I see I can not login to it using HULU credentials. I would have to pay the $6.99 for a months subscription and then cancel. Is this correct?
