Anyone know if this can be streamed? Usually can figure out how to watch a movie but can’t find this classic. Time for my young boys to get their first taste of greatness. Thanks in advance

I just googled and found out it is available on direct tv but now need to figure how to find it. I have never paid for any movies on direct tv so have never searched. But I will give it a shot this evening.

If you find it, be on the lookout for the Point guard of the first opponent of Daniel High dribbling up the court. That would be me.

I know a ton of people that were in that movie. It was filmed in and around Ponchatoula. Game action was filmed in the old Ponchatoula High Gym which is now the junior high.

I have fairly clear memories of ‘auditioning’ for that movie and then listening to Pete give a talk in the PMAC after. He ended by inviting all the kids one by one to try his challenge.
He placed a ball at the back of your neck while continuing to talk. Then he’d drop it suddenly and the challenge was to clap your hands (in front of body) and then catch the ball (behind your back) before it hit the ground. I got two hands on the ball and almost caught it. Nobody could do it that day.
Pete let the last kid succeed but it was a much younger kid (about 5 yrs old) and obvious he sort of put the ball in his hands. That little kid had the biggest smile!
