direct quotes from twitter

Eric Reid-Disappointed at our fans..we are a family and jj9 is part of it but yall wouldn't understand that

T-Bob- Anybody who booed #jj9 today needs to stop watching #LSU games and stop cheering for the tigers, we don't need you and don't want you

PP21- What was that about today LSU fans, we must stick together. We WIN and LOSS together I know we are better then that. #teampeterson21

We'll see how much they love him when les makes him the starter and we lose.

the players will love him just the same you stupid fricking ignorant POS

it is the PLAYERS team. I hope any and everyone who booed that young man yesterday can look themselves in the mirror or better yet look at their own child and wonder how they would feel if the roles were reversed.

I seriously wish I could find those who booed, go to their kids athletic events and just boo them cause I have the urge

some of you really need to check yourfrickingself

Yet in 4 years he has contributed infinitely more to the LSU football program than you will have done in a lifetime.

dreaux, that's what Ciron Black tweeted ... it's sad but probably true. Yes, people paid for their ticket and can do and feel what they want but I paid for my ticket and can do and feel what I want too.

You're all a bunch of God damn idiots. The players are right... Regardless of who was on that field the fans were booing that uniform, regardless who was wearing it. I'm with T-Bob, if you wanna boo someone take it to another team.

Seconded. I always find it funny when people choose to be fans of select people, instead of supporting the whole team.

Pathetic, failed people rarely understand how failed and pathetic they are.

I felt like I was in the middle of the OJ jury at the game, the reasoning was so tortured .

I must reconcile myself with the fact that the hyper-critical and misinformed will always be the LOUDEST amongst us, and move on.

IMHO - Fans were booing CLM because of integrity versus wimming. I agree with some of it. There are TEAM suspensions and legal matters - 2 separate punishments. His punishment followed the Legal process which he is still charged with a crime.

I think JJ should play - maybe even for the UF game.

I think he should have come back after (XXXX) amount of time like most coaches would have done.
I like Les, but disagree with him playing him so early.

Exactly. And those who justify their booing by saying they paid a ticket: Show some common courtesy and leave it for someone who won't boo our team. These home games sell out all the time, so I'm sure there's no shortage of takers.
