Its the people like me, that dont want to see the program run into the ground, Why on earth would anyone want to keep such a high paid coach, who cant even get the simple things right, like manage the clock.
That is a gimme.
But yet, you some how think he will win the must win games to take us to the next level.

Fisher is good with QBs, and he is a good recruiter.
However, I would not take Fisher over Miles.
FSU lost to Georgia Tech. The same Georgia Tech team that beat Alcorn State and Tulane to start the season, and then lost every game after that . . . except Florida State.

Maguire basically played half the season. The QB whisperer had an entire month to prepare. would Houston have an 11-1 record in the SEC west? Come on man
You are ragging hard on Jimbo losing a game to a 13 win team, meanwhile Les got taken to the woodshed by a team AT HOME that lost to Toledo and Texas Tech and finished with 5 losses.
Keep this in mind.

WRONG.... When Jimbo was contacted by LSU all he told them was he would talk about it after the season was over... LSU never contacted his agent.... Les Miles was calling Alleva to find out his status up until the aTm game... Alleva never returned Les Miles calls....so, Les Miles called LSU's bluff and told the media that it would be his last game coaching at LSU to apply pressure..... LSU board of Supervisors were on the phone with Alleva before and during the game discussing to keep Les Miles as coach.... They didn't want to lose out on either Miles Or Jimbo Fisher as their coach... Jimbo fisher was the ONLY coach the Board wanted.... There was NEVER ANY discussion about money with Fisher..it never went any further than that...
When Alleva didn't come out and say "Miles is our coach"...is all you need to know about his intentions.
It was going down, people can deny it all they want, they will never convince me otherwise.
How many 8-3 coaches get carried off the field?
that whole thing was bizarre as was the Alleva press conference and the ensuring articles about Alexander having to step in during the game "we're keeping coach"
I'm also convinced that it was Jimbo or bust...
If no Jimbo, then Miles returns..
Jimbo deal feel through, Miles returns...No one looked happy about it.
Today has a good feel to it...
Here is to 2016 being a special year, if it isn't I think we will get a new coach...

One of the great things about lsu winning next season will be seeing how miserable it makes assholes like you because Les is the coach
Your correct, he will win all the games that dont matter.
Most of the ones that would get us into the play off he will most likely lose.

How stupid are we going to look when we lose 3 games next season because the offense is still crippled?
Don't forget delay of game, inability to run the mysterious 2-minute offense and undisciplined football.

And when lsu does win those games hopefully you climb back under your rock in the cesspool where you came from.

What does this mean? LSU pays assistants more than elsewhere. It seems Les has been the one failing
he went 9-3, lol. That is a good seaon, it would have been 10-3. I'm not a sunshine pumper, but your expectations are out of control.
the other teams want to win too you know? he's a better than average coach. Maybe Gus, or Sumlin would be better right?
you want another Sabin? There's only 1, sorry. Who the frick do you think LSU is? The elite, there is not going to be a dynasty here in your lifetime, just relax

To OP:
He would have looked fine had he not hired Jimbo.
Les still needs to go, and go now. I don't know who you get, but some new blook, particularly at HC & OC needs to happen. I saw Chip was on the market. He hasn't won any titles, but he can coach Offense & all of his QB's do well in college. Harris would flourish under him. He is a "known" guy, so the class would stay in place IMO. I have read some don't like him on here, but he is tailor made for college.

whatever happened with the clm , jimbo situation it was handled wrong ..
It never should have been played out in the media with alleva remaining quiet , it was an embarrassment to this program whether we want to admit it or not ....

Where is LSU ranked in recruiting?
LSU is #1 - 247Sports
LSU is #1 - Rivals
LSU is #2 - ESPN (Ole Miss is #1 but has 3 more recruits. ESPN has not updated to show Divinity commitment.) fricking ESPN is terrible!

If you could build a program from the ground up, and you are honest, no way Miles would be in the 1st 10 picks for a HC.
We not talking about a great person, someone the players love, a great family man.
Im interested in a football coach that can take yours and beat his, and take his and beat yours.
period.
Winning games that count and playing in November and having a playoff birth on the line.

Jimbo is a good coach. And he would have been evaluated based on how the offense developed under him.
But, many, many simpletons will point to every FSU loss as proof of something.

Last year, Chavis leaving left Miles sitting there with no plan...
Then Alleva puts a restriction of hiring the new DC...2 year versus 3 plus the Miles clause...
I'm glad Alleva took a stand. LSU has given Les Miles the highest paid staff (at one point) and the highest paid coordinators in the country, yet we have had four straight season finishing outside of the top 10, and even unranked last year. That's not a good return on investment. If Les Miles is the super coach that some on here claim, why does he have to pay the most money in college football to have his assistant coaches do the work for him? And even at that, we still have 18-20 teams who don't pay their coaches that much money finishing ahead of us?

You make my point, the most players in the NFL yet since getting his arse smoked in the 11 Natty, we dont compete for any conference or National championships.
So he has the best players and the highest paid staff in the country, and he does less with more.
Then many others.

Dude we would rather Jimbo. It's great we got a new DC, but our special teams still suck and our offense is not balanced. CLM will not change anything on offense he'll eventually get fired. All Eva needs to be fired because he is making chappy hires in other sports.
