5. Also ULL and ULM both have the UL already in their name. It isn't fair for either school to appear like a satellite of the other.
It is a deceitful money play by the people at ULL.
Also I have a friend who works in media for the Sun Belt and laughs everytime she gets stuff from ULL. She said it is sad they send her stuff with UL or Louisiana on it when they know it has to be changed to their real name.

Not really, baseball is a completly different sport then football or even basketball in that the worst team in the league could beat the best team on any given day.
The San Francisco Giants won the world series last year and way back in April of last season they dropped a game to the pittsburgh pirates, a perennial last place team with minimal talent.
Does this make pittsburgh NOT an inferior opponent or NOT one of the worst teams in the leauge? Of course not. It just means they dropped a meaningless game to a sub-500 team in April.
I wonder why Pittsburgh Pirate fans aren't beating their chest saying how they beat the World Series Champs? Answer of course is because it's baseball and you plays tons and tons of games and your gonna drop some over the course of a long season.
One game doesn't determine a season unlike alot of other sports and the winner of the championship always loses dozens of games by the end of the year.
So congrats ULL fans here's a cookie!!
