I am sure this is not how he wanted to get the starting role- if he is mature he will step forward , become a leader and gain the respect of the team , coaches and fans-

If he let's it go to his head what we saw a few years ago will surface and mett will be on the field

Right now I give him the benefit of the doubt and vote for scenario one

Hopefully as pumped as Matt Flynn was at about this same time 4 years ago.

Could be argued that this is a similar situation.

PEOPLE. Listen:

When you're on a team, you want to START. PERIOD.

Yes you have friends and regret the way things pan out 'at itmes', but at the end of the day, your OBJECTIVE is to start and showcase your talent. PERIOD. J Lee is focused on his game, starting, practicing, not worrying about how he got the role.

So when your friend goes to jail for a bar fight, you say, "YES!" and get excited? Get real, man. I'm sure he's excited to have the opportunity to start, but I highly doubt he's happy about the situation that caused the opportunity.

I would bet Lee has had a pretty good idea that he was gonna start for the last few days

no shite. I'm sure he would have just rather beat out jefferson than have it like this is all were saying

You have no good argument, obviously.

And I'm 22, fwiw.

Obviously Lee is going to be excited to have an opportunity to start. But I doubt he likes how it happened.

Best part is we don't have to listen to Les go on about how improved JJ is...when it almost certainly is BS.

I hope it will be worth the wait for him. Would be a great story if it turns out well.

Honestly I think he's excited, but let's face it, guys on a football team are all good friends. I'm sure he's sad to see his teammate, friend, and "brother in arms" in this situation

Outwardly those are the sentiments he will express but considering a productive year could result in millions in his bank account I can't help but feel he's elated to have the opportunity.

Exactly. He was sad for probably 24 hours. Now he's a rabid dog foaming at the opportunity to showcase.

I wonder if he will be rocking the "Flutie Sleeves" he wore last year.
