We are lucky most of our family lives on a huge plot of family land so all the grandchildren can walk to each other's house plus we are out of the city in the country.

As an example.. If I met you at A bar and we sat down and had A few beers and talked sports, we would be at it for hours.... REAL conversation is what is missing in todays world............

So, Big, your argument is that these stats refute any notion that he underacheived? Well, I must disagree. Your argument is Non sequitur. In other words your stats are pointless. He did little with a whole bunch of talent save the QB position which he jacked up as well. LSU needs a good solid coach and Miles was not it. Neither is O...

So the being the winningest coach in lsu history is doing little?
Its like you people dont realize that the only thing standing in miles wasy was saban. Had saban not come back miles would have a national title in 2011 and back to back west titles in 2012.

Please point to the coaches that would beat saban.

He was fired for not keeping lsu at level HE set. That in no way means his tenure was crap or that he underachieved. If miles underachieved then every single lsu coach ever has underachieved.

Les is Larry Coker. Coker got a job at a crappy Texas school after UM fired him.

Quit blaming Bama for Les's problems. Bama made him quit in 12. But LSU was getting beat by more and more SECOND teams.

It's not like we were only losing to Bama.

Coaker went to back to back title games and went undefeated. Miles could coach for 1,000 years and he'd never do either.

Best win %. You cant count alltime wins.
Mac coached for 17 years and had all of 9 seasons finishing in the top 25.

Miles has the best win %.
Best ooc win %.
Most ranked teams beaten.
2 of lsu 3 title game appearances.
7 of lsu's 28 top 15 finishes
Most top 25 finishes
Most top 20 finishes
Most top 15 finishes
Most top 10 finishes
Most top 5 finishes.
Miles has as many top 5 finishes as Saban, Mac,and Dietzel combined.

Its undeniable that Miles is the winningest coach in lsu history.

bullshite.
Miles has actually turned a shite program (Oklahoma State) into a respectable program. Before he got there they had 1 winning season in 14 years.

Miles achieved his great numbers during the most dominant era of sec football ever while Larry Coker was in the big east. Also we never saw Coker be successful with his own recruits and we have seen miles do it.

Miles has been more successful than his predecessor at every stop.

Nailed it. Miles was not the coach in the early years that he gets credit for. He just got lucky with some outstanding defenses bailing him out, special teams play, trick plays and a lot of sheer luck. I never trusted him right from his first presser and his 2nd game loss to TN on Monday night after Katrina.

He's best win pct but that's not what winningest means. It means alltime wins. And of course you count alltime wins dude don Shula doesn't have the best alltime win pct in the NFL but he's the winningest coach ever. Your love for miles clouds your judgement so bad man. If you google winningest coach in LSU football history Charlie Mac pops up and Les pops up as second. Perfect example who is the winningest basketball coach in LSU history? Everybody including you would say Dale Brown but he doesn't have the highest win pct.
