Almost as much as I put in the TD pass to Beckham that METT overthrew.

Chit happens.

Georgia scored on a 3rd and 11. You're not supposed to allow them to score on 3rd and 11.

You must keep in mind that both teams got away with an absurd amount of pass interference no calls. LSU scored two touchdowns after blown calls early in the game. Georgia made LSU pay for the PI that was not called on that play.

Ask yourselves, how would the game have looked if the bad PI was called on both sides?

The defense made its one good stop, and Beckham fumbled the game away. It meant everything, but you can't expect offense and special teams to win a game when we are strategically placing lawn chairs on the field when the other team has the ball.

After LSU made the last score, an onside kick would have been a brilliant way to steal a possession and run the clock out. With a defense as bad as this one, stealing a possession or two in a big game would be huge

I agree completely. Onside kick. If we don't recover it, then just leave the "defense" on the sidelines and give them the TD, saving enough time for the offense to come back and score.

or the holding on Georgia's o-line...I thought I was watching the other team in red at times out there

in a tight game on the road against a top team, I can certainly expect a decent punt returner to properly field a straight-forward punt...

The muffed punt caused at least a 10 point swing. We would have scored on that drive. I'm not mad though. It was an exciting game.

I find it ironic that OBJ can catch kickoffs one handed (sort of hot doggish, if you ask me), yet have a punt hit his facemask,"

True. Very true. Get the mustard off of that hot dog and play ball.

Two huge blunders happened on that punt, OBJ muffs the punt AND Magee does not cover the fumble which he DEFINITELY should have done.

Magee should have recovered the muffed punt

I wish they had all been called given that LSU was penalized for the only one called. And that is considering that there were plenty others that LSU had that were let go.

His pass receiving ability mirrors those two things. He'll make a circus catch on the sideline then drop the next that's in his hands.

I'm not one for blaming specific players or saying any one play cost us the game, BUT...

At that point, we were up a score and looking unstoppable. The D (I know no-one wants to hear this) WAS playing a little better- 69 yds in 3rd Q after giving up over 300 in 1st half?-

Going up by two scores while in the process of eating a little more clock at that point would have been enough to seal the win.

Motivation as a result of momentum definitely plays a part in most games. The best team that I have seen control that is Bama and that is why they are where they are.

Thank you. For anyone who's saying Beckham lost the game truly didn't watch it from beginning to end. Yes it switched the momentum back to Georgia but every time we gained the momentum back our defense gave it away. Our defense had opportunities to stop them and they couldn't. We can't assume that our offense would have gone down the field and scored. Even if they scored a field goal, our defense kept giving up critical touchdowns. In the end, we had the lead and when the game was on the line, our defense couldn't stop them. In my mind, that was the critical point of the game. We had them stopped at least two times if only the defense could have caused a turnover but didn't do it. While the fumble hurt, we overcame it. What we couldn't overcome were our own defensive woes.

100% reason LSU lost. Happened right as the momentum pendulum began to swing LSU's way.

It had nothing to do with the 75-yard 2:30 drive the defense have up 20 minutes later. Come on—think rationally here.
