Pitiful. Why don’t LSU fans like to travel to Florida?

Take a look around, the Bowls are more and more getting smaller ticket sales from the teams. Secondly, a lot of fans get the better seats from the after market or directly purchasing from the Bowl. We should have about 12k to 18k Tiger fans at the game.

All I know is that I've been in Orlando since Tuesday with my wife and kids and we went to Seaworld, Disney Springs and have spent the last 2 days at Universal and I've seen Notre Dame fans all over, a few Miss St, VA Tech and others. Yesterday afternoon I finally crossed paths with an LSU fan and his son and we gave the "Geaux Tigers" as we saw each other.

I was in Tampa for the Outback when we played Iowa and I ran across LSU fans pretty frequently.

Not a surprise, you do realize Notre Dame is a national fan base with fans across the country

I spent my money on watching a competent coach beat Memphis Thursday night.

Every post now has negative coach bashing. Wow! Soon it will spill onto food board.

I'm not even watching this crap game on tv.

Not surprised in the least that the traveling fans are skipping this.

It's a combination of the LSU allotment not having great seats unless you're an OT baller, better seats for cheaper on stub hub and these kickoff classics are more then flavor of the month than the bowls now.

They are desperate to try to fill up the stadium. They offered Orange County teachers tickets at $15 each. Very happy I get to take the whole family but sad it will be so poorly attended.

Have typically the same profile of match up as a bowl but at the beginning of the season where possibilities are endless rather than at the end of yet another mediocre year. The LSU fan base is not one that has an unlimited amount of funds to travel all over the place. Many are choosing to spend at a time when there is still hope. Rather than at a time where there has been constant turmoil the last couple years.
