Misinformed?? Spoken like one who buys season tix from the deceased.
Misinformed?? I don’t remember seeing you at the fundraisers with Coach Johnson, the TAF president and other high level boosters. NO corporations were involved. None were even mentioned at all. Trust me, if CJJ could have had some corporate money, he wouldn’t have bothered to meet with us, not once, but twice last year. I’ll call you next time. Bring your checkbook.

This thread has convinced me I’m 20 years late to this process. If I give them 25-30K it’s just a waste
It’s not a waste unless you expect something in return. And for $30K, they better have something to offer, or those dollars will dry up. Just remember, if you ask the TAF guy, he’s gonna giggle in your face and say “that’s not how this works.”
Oh well, guess we should be grateful to the Lurking family and other legacy season ticket purchasers for the deceased….

Club seats have been available every year. They are ( I’m going off a foggy memory) about 50% more than what my tickets in 106 cost and they require a multi year commitment. That’s just too far away from the action for me. Maybe I would fall in love if I tried it. A few of my friends rave about the food and A/C.
I like being near the students and the band and contributing to the noise.

I believe there are some things you can donate to & get 4 points per $1000, so yeah you can get about 8pts for $2k total. That would put you in an okay spot for football tickets
I'm ranked somewhere in the 10,000 range with about 17 points. When I tried to upgrade my football seats, there wasn't much available: maybe a few pairs in the endzones, some in the uppers, but that's it. There were only a couple options yesterday when I finally got to choose a non-renewable parking pass... next to the softball field was the best available.

It's the same up here. I know two guys who approached Mississippi State with $100K in hand to try to get 4 baseball tickets they could split during the season.
They came home empty handed.

Just buy the tickets to the games you really want to go. Then you can pick where you want to sit.
