We have dumb fricking fans. Do you think ole Miss, Ms state, A&M, 100 other colleges are saying “gee I don’t want a NC, I mean Les Miles and Coach O won one. Why would I want that”?

It MIGHT be diminished if he was the third to win it, not the first. If anything it polishes him. He got a middle tier program to a place where it was easily recruited and powerful as hell. So much so that Les and Ogre were able to win largely due to phenomenal talent.

As much as we dislike Saban because of what he’s done at Bama, Miles and O never win one without the foundation Nick established.

Everyone that has followed LSU football knows that Saban is the reason all of this happened. Sure, DiNardo brought the magic back, but Saban built the foundation for all of the success that we have had since. Not to take away anything from Miles or O, but without Saban we may very well have never made it over the hump.
