How much do position coaches really matter this late in the season?

I mean Ole Miss took out Georgia and Tulane without Lane Kiffin . The players should know the playbook by now, and are they really learning new techniques? I don’t think it will really hurt Ole Miss Thursday if Kiffin gets his assistants back now.

There is some in game coaching about what your opponent is doing and how to counter it

Burrow could have called his own plays in 2019

Any QB could call their own plays. Let not act like Burrow is some special wizard.

Like when Mendoza's radio went out yesterday and he ran it up the middle for no gain on 3rd and 10 from around the alabama 30?

Chamblis is like Daniels
He can make plenty of plays when things break down

The college football market says so.

Always has.
