My tickets in Section 244 are between the 5 and the goal line are $725 each. I have 5 tickets so they cost about $3,600 plus LSU's fees.

There are literally hundreds of tickets for sale by individuals outside the stadium every game in good "Lower Bowl" locations.
There's always somebody that can't or doesn't want to go. These tickets are dirt cheap too; way under face. If you can wait until right before kickoff, they can be had for 5 or 10 bucks. Sometimes you can't even give them away.
I see no reason for "Season Tickets" outside of the status of telling others that you are a Season Ticket holder. (Which many arrogant, self centered and self absorbed individuals definitely are)
I personally used to have ST's, but gave them up long ago when they started moving so many games to the day and loaded down the schedule with mostly out of state "Sisters of the Poor" for the Out of Conference games. I refuse to go along with any of that BS.
Been There, Done That since the 70's and there's not enough bank for the buck any longer to have ST's..............

Yeah it just doesn’t make any sense to me with how readily available tickets are for every game

I’m on about the 15 on the west side, 37th row, section 101. I have 2 personally in my name. $425 for each ticket and $925 for each TAF fund. So $425 x 2 + $925 x 2 + $30 in internet processing fees equals $2730 for the year

None of what I’m reading here sounds like a “donation.”

First shot at "LSU section" tickets for bowls and road games? That's not much of an incentive, at least to me, but maybe for some it is.
