My wife and I are headed to Vegas this year to hang out and watch the game, otherwise we would definitely be in Tiger Stadium. The last time we were in Vegas watching LSU play Bama we won 9-6 and I won $40k. Hope the luck continues.

Not true. What are you looking for? 50 yard line? I have a buddy with 2 in the south endzone for under $250 on stub hub. Very decent seats.
250 in lower bowl (corners and endzone) is going rate on stubhub.

Bought one today for face. There will be tickets for sale by stadium or ask at tailgates.

How much did you fork up for your ticket?
Holding my 2014 LSU vs Bama ticket in my hand right now. SEC 414. Row 37. Seat 7.
100 Dollar Face. Paid 50 right before kickoff.
A tough ticket. There were a few to be had but were going for too much and I refused to pay the asking price. (I'm not that desperate)
Right before KO, a guy was holding up one ticket while waiting to go in. I had on my Tiger Band Alum cap, so he sold it for 50 because he loved the Band.
That was a close one. Closet I've ever come to not getting in a game. Was just resigned to go watching the game at one of the Tailgates.
Will use the same technique Saturday...........

Was looking at paying up to $200 for a student ticket with ID. Turns out a good friend of mine couldn't get off work, and he just gave me his. Really lucked out on this one.

I know people who try to sell major game tickets like this one to pay off a significant part of the cost burden for the rest of the season ticket.
if people have to do this then they really can't afford the season tickets in the first place

If u have good seats like I do on the 40 20 rows up, u pay 118 per ticket and give taf 4500 per year, so the ticket holder is paying 800

As part of LSU season tickets, with required TAF fees
TAF fee = $136/game ($950/seat each year with 7 games)
Bama face price = $116
Real price for Bama game = $252
So, when you assess the price you pay on the market, factor in the real cost as a base to compare with. This is for Section 105.

Wtf are you talking about? I have tickets bum, and they are good seats. Cost me 150$, most of my family went to LSU and are season ticket holders or know others that hold tickets. They usually contact me for the big games, and I've seen great prices for tickets. Even though they aren't very hard for everyone to get I still wouldn't pay more than 300$ unless you're in a suite, or between the 30's down below. Those are always high dollar for good reason. Like someone said around 250$ for the corners and around 110$ to 175$ for upper. I realize some people pay more but I wouldn't tell someone to do that. It's up to the individual and how bad he wants to see the game in stadium.

but do people really pay that much to go to a damn college regular season game?
I have 2 pairs and only needed one pair for this weekend. Was able to sell the other pair for more than $1,000. So, the answer to your question is yes.
ETA: These are 50 yard line, lower bowl seats.
