High expectations are great but you just don’t undo a few years of Miles’ downward trends over 1-2 seasons. As much as it will pain you to admit, we’ve seen improvements early in year 2. Not to mention on the recruiting trail. Maybe coach O can continue to get “lucky”

When a team jumps up from #25 to #6, the expectations jump up right alone with them. The team is no longer hunting, it will now be hunted. An 8 win season for a team ranked #25 is one thing, but an 8 win season for a team once ranked 6 is another.
The storyline for this team will be written after Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Bama. We all hope it will be as favorable as it has been in the 1st part of the season.

Won't judge a coach off of one game. Need to see a successful season, at least ten wins. Consistency is key.

Then you'll need to see bowl game, recruiting, next season, the next five seasons, continuation of the program, and you'll never accept anything to back off your extreme preseason negativity.
We saw it with Miles, people never accepted the guy. Some of you will never "accept" Orgeron.
