For most Nega-Tigers I think it is that they don't think LM will get us back to where we want the program to be, NOT that we want our team to loose. Big difference.

That you would take a 6-6 season just to assure he leaves? I remember last year a guy asked us "do y'all ever just wish we would lose the rest of the games just so miles will be fired?" of course I wouldn't wish a loss upon my tigers but it seems most on here would. Just wondering what the census would be on here
These are the same "fans" (or at least the same species) who rooted against the team in 1999 so that Dinardo would be fired. I am as disgusted by them as I am in Bama fans - more even, as Bama fans do believe in something.

I had a thread I was going to start with this same thing. All you have to do is post something where they can hide behind and then they turn it on you for bringing it up just like they have tried to do with this one. This board is full of those with the "WANT" to see Miles gone no matter the cost, all you have to do is don't log in and you can see them all through the threads the way they post.
It's a shame that people can not be themselves on this board and not hide behind a screen and keyboard to make up the crap that they make up.
I have followed LSU my whole life and have never seen anything like what is taking place now. No we do not want to be mediocre we want the best for LSU but you have to use common sense about things such as this. There have been things that have caused some of the problems within the Coaches control he made a decision that he knew would hurt LSU in the short run but it was best for the team. And then some things that was man made mistakes that he had to correct and we saw in the Arky game the very next week he and the team corrected it. The thing is because of the size of our state and the number of recruites within our boarders will cause us to have a down year no matter what maybe even two.
When was the last time you saw a decent QB other than the ones we have gotten from our state that made you say wow we have to have that kid? It has been a long time and why I do not know but that is the way it is. The only one that comes to mind is RP enough said.
If we can get things that we have been hurting on put together over this summer we will have a great year. The main players, yet young, have the playing experiance to make the jump that it will take to get LSU back to where we need to be. This year will be that year that will set us up to be the team to beat next year for sure. With some luck along the way with not any injuries we could have that year this year and be setup for another year next year.
I Say!

i will b pulling and thinking 14-0 when the season starts. then my enthusiasm will temper if we f up the opener. i EXPECT NOTHING LESS THAN 5-0 GOING INTO GAINESVILLE. with this talent and the schedule, i dont think i am being delusional. all of those are games we SHOULD win IMO.

I am rooting for us to go undefeated.
If the team under performs this year, there is absolutely no acceptable excuse,
I despise the idea of a 9 win season, especially if the 9th win comes in a mid level bowl game.
With the coaches and players we have, 10 wins or more are a must.
9 wins would absolutely suck dog crap.
8 or fewer and he should be gone.
but, once again, we all need to root for the Tigers to win em all

I have the want for Les to be successful. My problem is I just don't believe Les is a good enough coach to compete with Saban over the long haul. If I am ok with coming in 2nd every year in the West the I guess I should shut up and be satisfied.

I want them to win them all if not at least 10-11 wins and if there are 9 then the loses had better be hard faught battles to teams that are ranked ahead of them or are more talented than they are. I want to see the inthusiasum that has been lost over the last two years that says We Are LSU!
But as look at the schedule we have this year it will be tuff to win them all but, with some luck here and there and calls by the refs that do not go the way they did last year we should be in every game this year. I do not think we should be blown out by anyone.
We have the talent and with the experiance this young team has and with the Coaching changes that where made we should be instore for great year going into next year.

Only an idiot. A true idiot would wish such. I want Miles to succeed. Any coach at LSU to succeed. Would never want LSU to lose any game, Miles success is LSU's success.

And yet another dumbass who can't read... Did I ever say I wanted him gone? Did I even express my opinion what so ever? No I simply stated what someone else said and that I didn't agree with it. It is truely amazing, the lack of literacy on this site can be astonishing

The reason is, when LSU has to depend highly on out of state players that is the years we largest exodus of players leaving the team leaving the team short on depth. All you have to do is go and compare the years we have a high instate recruiting class and the years the most of the players come from out of state you will see the shortage of depth on the team because of. Why? I do not know for sure but you are talking about young men who are leaving home for the first time or if they get homesick I do not know for sure and also it during those years LSU tends to take chances on recruits that are boarder line as far as studies go. JMHO!

How do you save a thread? I want to pull this one back out when we are down at half time in one of our first few games.
